I had so much fun sharing some creative ideas out there in blogland last Friday, that I thought I'd do it again!
My sick boys are finally on the mend, but this momma is out for the count. I sit here typing with kleenex and Vaporub nearby. I am looking forward to getting my time and energy back. Being sick is always a good reminder to be thankful for God's grace of good health.
Before I get into some fun ideas, I want to tell you about my other blog--Helpmate. It is a blog for Christian wives. My last post was about the Christian wife's perspective of Valentine's Day and how this should flow into our expectations and actions. You can read it here.
Okay, here are some of the fun ideas I ran across during the week:
Keeping it Thrifty shared her Little Miss Momma inspired Pom Pom necklace. I loved this when I saw it on Little Miss Momma too, but I haven't been able to make an adequate pom pom. She did a great job.
Eye Spy DIY did a 4 dollar shoe revamp. She took Pepto Bismol pink shoes with outdated accents and made them into something fabulous! How cute are these?
My friend Erin at In Between Laundry once again made a darling project. Her oldest is turning 4, so she started a new tradition--the birthday wreath! It is made of colorful balloons and fabric. You just change out the picture in the frame for each person's birthday!
A Recovering Craft Hoarder made a darling craft with her kids. Most of us have decorative chocolate or baking molds that we could use to make these special crayon shapes. What a fun favor for classmates or friends for Valentine's Day or birthday favors.
Mostly Food and Crafts made some delicious looking Nutella Crescents. I love her idea of savory ones with ham and cheese too! How fun, delicious and easy to make these sweet treats for a tea, breakfast or party.
This week I stumbled upon such a fun blog--Eisy Morgan. She is hip and happenin and it is fun to follow her tutorials on fashion, hair and other creative endeavors. How fun and pretty is this white scarflace?
Skip To My Lou shared a free printable cupcake wrapper for Valentine's Day. I am loving these cupcake wrappers lately. I found such a cute one for Carter's birthday party in March--can't wait to reveal it. If you are bringing cupcakes anywhere for Valentine's Day, these would really be cute to add to your creations!
Amanda at Homemaking Honey is planning her son's birthday party and she is doing a Hungry, Hungry Catepillar theme. It is SO cute! Here are some of her inspirations and ideas . . .
Have fun getting inspired!
